Cancellation Policy

All sessions must be paid for in advance of the scheduled start time. Single Sessions: Payment is due at the time of booking. Standard Cancellation Policy: A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session without penalty. Late Cancellations (less than 24 hours' notice): Result in a charge of 50% to 100% of the session fee. No-Shows: If a student is absent without notice, the full session fee will be charged. Late Arrival Policy: Sessions will end at the originally scheduled time regardless of when the student arrives. If a student is more than 15 minutes late without prior notice, the session may be considered a "no-show" and cancelled. Medical & Family Emergencies: We understand "life happens." Exceptions to the cancellation fee may be made for sudden illness or emergencies at the tutor's discretion. Tutor Cancellations: In the rare event the tutor must cancel, the student will be offered an immediate reschedule or a full refund for that session. Termination of Services: Either party may terminate the tutoring relationship with at least one to two weeks' notice to allow for final wrap-up and progress summaries. Supervision for Minors: For students under 18, a parent or guardian must be present in the home during in-person sessions. No Guarantee of Results: While we strive for academic success, the tutor does not guarantee specific grades or test scores, as individual effort and external factors play a role. Materials & Prep: Online tutoring students will need a whiteboard, expo, pencil, paper, access to computer. Reading (dyslexia or beginner reader) need a set of magnetic alphabet letters for phonic and spelling.
